The sun was shining gloriously and the deep blue seas of Florida's Gulf Coast were warm and welcoming. This was the view from the deck at Limefish, a host site for the first time at the annual Anna Maria Island Wedding Festival. Limefish is one of 7 unique homes available to hire from Pineapplefish Luxury Villas.
This annual Festival, organised by the Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce, invites soon-to-be married couples and their families to the Island, to meet with a host of wedding businesses, including accommodation, wedding planners, caterers, officiates, bridal fashion designers, cake designers, entertainers, hairdressers and anyone else you can think of that can help plan a special wedding on Anna Maria Island.
Standing on the deck at Limefish on the day of the Festival 28th February, it is not difficult to understand why Anna Maria is regarded the No.1 Beach Wedding Destination of Florida. It's equisite white sand, beautiful sunshine and magnificent sunsets across the Gulf is the perfect setting for the most romantic, unique and stylish wedding ceremony, and with a lack of high rise hotels and restaurant chains, the independent venue options are individual and welcoming to you and your guests.
Limefish was host to a number of other businesses from across the Island, including; Beach Bums who amongst other things, can provide decorated Surrey Bikes or Golf Carts as a fabulous and fun alternative for wedding transportation. AJ's Island Network, an amazing wedding planner who can co-ordinate and source any number of usual concepts for the more demanding of dream weddings, Mikes Little Island Brewing Company, Storm Warning DJ services Billi's Island Memories Photography, Silvia's Flower Corner, Beauty Control and Aqua Aveda Salon
Whilst AJ cooked up some fabulous grilled shrimp and pineapple for couples to sample whilst browsing the elaborate wedding decor she and Silvia had created on the tables, Storm Warning DJ services played some great 'beachy' music for guests to enjoy. Beauty Control were giving free 'spray tans' for those who didn't have long enough on the Island to sunbathe, and the Limefish team, which included Mike and Lizzie, the owners of Pineapplefish Luxury Villas, showed the guests around their fabulous beachfront home and introduced the rest of their rentals, Cherryfish, Plumfish, Honeyfish, Lemonfish, Berryfish and Chillifish, which will easily accommodate all wedding guests for a party up to approximately 50 guests.
The 3rd annual Anna Maria Island Wedding Festival has once again proved to be a huge success for the Island. So much was the success for Pineapplefish, they have already received 3 bookings from wedding parties the day after the Festival! "We are delighted we have been able to present Limefish as a vendor site for the Festival this year. There is so much planning that goes into the day, but with the support and help of all the vendors that we were delighted to host at Limefish, it has been asbolutely fantastic and we can't wait to do again next year!" said Lizzie Thrasher of Pineapplefish.
