Anna Maria Island Bayfest is a two day annual festival. This year the festival took place from Friday 16th October to Saturday 17th October. Some of the acts and festivities were thwarted by the bad weather that rolled into Anna Maria on Friday evening. But despite of this the bands and DJ’s continued playing into the night for those weather hardy fans.
The bad weather luckily cleared on the Saturday with guests welcoming back the Anna Maria Island sun. With the largest crowd Bayfest has ever seen, local vendors and volunteers provided food and lively music as well as a 100 strong antique car show.
As well as all the fun and entertainment for the adults, there was a children’s area set up with inflatable slides and castles. Additional the children could also find lots of fun with the matinee shows, pony rides and martial arts displays.
So, all in all the Anna Maria Island Bayfest was yet again a resounding success.
