Berryfish is a large ocean-front duplex apartment with a fabulous location on one of Anna Maria Islands, tranquil, non-crowded family beaches.
Purchased in April 2008 by Mike and Lizzie as a Pineapplefish property, it has been extremely popular for large family vacations, due to it's layout and location, just feet from the sandy beach.
Berryfish is a six-bedroom, 4 bathroom duplex, but it is split into 2 separate accommodation facilities, which we refer to as Berryfish East and Berryfish West. Each side offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and the property can be rented as one whole unit or individual sides, making it perfect for larger groups of families or friends, that whilst want to enjoy a holiday together, also enjoy the space and privacy of a separate home.
Each side has a large, comfortable living room, with cable TV, VCR, DVD and stereo and a full kitchen with new appliances. On the upper floors the master bedrooms feature king beds and a second bedroom is furnished as a twin. The downstairs bedrooms feature queen beds and private bathrooms.
Outside, the top sundeck has a retractable awning and down the steps a path leads directly to the shared swimming pool area and the beach. And, hot and cold showers are convenient way to clean off those sandy feet at the end of a beachy day! Under the house is an enclosed laundry area that has parking, storage space and a washer dryer.
So much is its popularity, the property has been booked consistently since 2008, so it has yet to receive the full 'Pineapplefish' refurbishment to bring it to the luxurious Pineapplefish uniqueness that the other villas in the portfolio offer.
But, Mike and Lizzie are due to spend time on Berryfish in early 2010 and have some wonderful ideas to make it even more special and luxurious for a magical Anna Maria Island, beach holiday.
