A gorgeous, 3 storey, Southern style home, Lemonfish is a very spacious home and perfect for a large family or group of friends! Climb the steps to the pretty front porch, adored with beautiful flowering climbers, and where you will find a couple of Adirondak chairs in which you can take a seat!
The entrance hall is impressive with to the left a beautifully decorated dining room with round table, seating up to 8 guests. And to the right, a large, comfortable family room, leading through into the spacious open plan living area. A lounge with plenty of sofas and chairs, a feature fireplace and large screen TV, and a lovely palette of soft pastel colors bring a beautiful calmness to this house, with lovely furnishings to match.
The large, full kitchen also has a lovely bright breakfast area with a high table to seat 8 people. Full windows look out across the pool and the canal, a really lovely way to start your day! There is also outside access to garden and the swimming pool from the lounge. There is also a great games room accessed via stairs to the ground floor from the lounge: a perfect hideaway for kids and teens and even the more grown up of kids, to enjoy a game of ping pong or foosball. Double doors from the games room lead out onto the pool area. Have dinner on the patio, (BBQ supplied), relax in and by the lovely lap pool, or fish from the canal: enjoying the garden and outside space is a truly pleasurable pastime at this house!
Lemonfish has 4 bedrooms, all with a different, pastel theme. On the living floor, at the back of the house, is a lovely and very private Queen room, decorated and furnished in a gorgeous yellow, with it’s own bathroom and it’s own lovely balcony which overlooks the canal. Upstairs, is a stunning master suite, a soft pastel pink, with four poster King bed, a large walk in closet and an en-suite with bath and separate shower. This room also has it’s own office, just in case you have to do a little work while you’re here! The third Queen room is a beautiful pale blue and the additional twin room, a pale shade of green! These two rooms share a bathroom, with double sinks, bath and overhead shower.
Lemonfish is the ideal Anna Maria house for a large family or mixed group of friends, with so much space to enjoy together or find a little privacy when needed!
I love the style of this house, the soothing colours, the flow. I wanted to create a total calmess to this house.Mike Thrasher - Owner

Lemonfish is located in Loquat Street, a quiet treelined road off of South Bay Boulevard. Take a left onto South Bay Blvd, and cycle 2 minutes and reach one of our favourite restaurants, The Waterfront. Great food, a great atmosphere and the best island cocktails, it also has views out across Tampa Bay Beach and the City Pier, our top visitor destination on Anna Maria Island. Along this stretch you will also come across Two Scoops our famous ice cream palor and Pine Avenue, the commercial centre of Anna Maria Island. Here you will find wonderful boutique shops, rental stores, diners, the General Store, the Historic Green Village (a beacon for global green developments) as well as our wonderful Historical Society, a must visit on the island! At the top end of Pine Avenue (which will take no more than 2 minutes on your bike), are the Gulf beaches and the famous Sandbar Restaurants. Take a right from Loquat onto South Bay Boulevard and you will within a few minutes find yourself at the marina, where Ocean Star, our fabulous, relatively new Japanese restaurant can be found.
