Plumfish Overview

Nestled between the mangroves, overlooking the gorgeous waters of the Hammock Bayou, and with little pockets of privacy, Plumfish is a delightful place to stay, and enjoy the calm and tranquility that comes of homes on the water. One of our smallest but equally spacious, and cosy homes, Plumfish has 3 bedrooms, and is perfect for between 2 and up to 8 guests.

On the main living area, which is reached via steps up from the front door, is a brightly decorated, open plan living, dining and kitchen area, which leads out through double patio doors onto one of the outside features of this house: a wonderful, screened veranda overlooking the water and the gorgeous vegetation, with comfy wicker sofa and matching table and chairs to seat everyone. A perfect spot to enjoy every mealtime!

Take the steps down from here and enjoy relaxing by the small dip pool, or take a book and take up one of the chairs on Plumfish’s own little dock hidden behind the trees, but which sits right on the edge of the bay. Time can disappear in this little spot, and any disruption to your peace will be nothing more than a jumping fish, or a visit from one of our many bird species that can be found on Anna Maria.

There are 3 bedrooms at Plumfish, a Kingroom, with en-suite shower room, and a Queen room with private bathroom on the main living floor. Uppstairs is the ‘tower’: a great children’s room, with 2 sets of bunk beds, super bright colours and a desk! Each room also has it’s own flat screen TV.

Plumfish is a gorgeous home in a stunning location, so popular that guests come back year after year to stay.

2019 Weekly Rates:
LOW SEASON: $1,950
High Season: March, April*, June, July*, August. Low Season: January, February, May, September, October, November*, December*. *Peak Season: Easter, July 4th week, Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Year.
Additional fees: 12% tax, $150 cleaning, $100 administration and $50 security deposit waiver. Deposit, as an advance rental payment required to confirm booking.
All payments are made to Sato Real Estate and are payable in US Dollars. Peak and High Season: Saturday to Saturday bookings, minimum 7 nights. Low Season allows more flexibility (minimum 4 night stay).


Plumfish can be found tucked in the corner of Gull Drive which is toward the far north end of the island. From the end of the street, take a left onto Gladiolus Street and follow the road as far as it will go, to meet with North Shore Drive, which wraps around the complete northern tip of Anna Maria Island. This walk will take no more than 10 minutes or less on a bike. Here, tucked between some houses is a signed pathway which will take you to straight onto the beach at Bean Point. The very northern tip of the island, this beautiful little hideaway is the place to go to watch the most magnificent sunsets across the Gulf and enjoy an early morning sunrise walk. From here you can either walk along the shore or get back on your bike, going South along North Shore Drive to get to the wonderful Rod & Reel Pier. Here the fishermen come to work at sunrise, and the Rod & Reel Pier Restaurant is one of our favourite places on the island for breakfast. Continuing south, North Shore Drive takes you onto North Bay Boulevard, where you can reach Pine Avenue and City Pier, our top visitor destination on Anna Maria Island. Here you will find wonderful boutique shops, rental stores, diners, the General Store, the Historic Green Village (a beacon for global green developments) as well as our wonderful Historical Society, a must visit on the island.
